Exosome-based targeted pulmonary delivery:nebulization inhalation of mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosome in respiratory diseases research and translational challenges
间充质干细胞外泌体(mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes,MSC-Exos)因其携带丰富的生物活性物质和具有低免疫原特性而备受关注.雾化吸入作为一种非侵入性、靶向肺部的给药方式,为MSC-Exos在呼吸系统疾病中的应用开辟了新途径.本文通过梳理最新的研究成果,系统综述MSC-Exos的特性、雾化吸入的作用机制以及在呼吸系统疾病的疗效、临床转化面临的挑战以及未来发展方向,旨在为这一新兴治疗策略的临床前研究与临床转化提供理论依据.
Mesenchymal stem cell-derived exosomes(MSC-Exos)have attracted attention due to their rich bioactive substances and low immunogenic properties.Nebulization inhalation,as a non-invasive and targeted pulmonary delivery method,has opened up new avenues for the application of MSC-Exos in respiratory diseases.This article systematically reviews the characteristics of MSC-Exos,the mechanisms of nebulization inhalation,as well as the efficacy in respiratory diseases,the challenges faced in clinical translation,and the future development directions,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for the preclinical research and clinical translation of this emerging therapeutic strategy.
