下肢静脉曲张术后患者复发风险感知及预防行为阻碍因素的质性研究OA

Objective To explore the perception of recurrence risk and barriers to maintaining preventive behaviors in patients after lower limb varix surgery.Methods From December 2024 to February 2025,18 discharged patients who underwent lower limb varix surgery in the vascular surgery department at a Grade Ⅲ-A hospital in Wuhan were selected by purposive sampling for semi-structured interviews.Thematic analysis was conducted with their interview data.Results Through the organization and analysis of interview data,4 themes(13 sub-themes)were extracted:1)perception of recurrence possibility(underestimation of recurrence risk;uncertainty about recurrence risk;passive avoidance of recurrence risk),2)perception of recurrence risk factors(inadequate understanding of recurrence risk factors;awareness of recurrence risk factors but lack of individualized cognition;misunderstanding of recurrence risk factors),3)perception of recurrence severity(perception of clinical consequences;increased economic and family burden;impaired social function and maladaptation;psychological distress from appearance changes),and 4)barriers to preventive behaviors(barriers to compliance with elastic stocking use;difficulties in changing lifestyle;work restrictions).Conclusion Patients after lower limb varix surgery face multiple challenges in recurrence risk perception and behavioral change.Healthcare professionals should focus on patients'perception of recurrence risk,enhance their risk awareness,and help them reduce barriers to preventive behaviors to promote the formation and maintenance of healthy behaviors.
