In response to the issue of high moisture content in low-grade sulfur concentrate products at a certain gold mine concentrator plant,a systematic analysis was conducted to identify problems in the low-grade sulfur concentrate itself,equipment,and production processes.Targeted measures were implemented,including optimizing the selection of spare parts for filtration equipment,adjusting operational parameters of filtration equipment,enhancing process flow modifications,modifying chemical dosing systems,and conducting moisture testing research on low-grade sulfur concentrate.These measures ultimately determined key parameter specifications,improved the grade of low-grade sulfur concentrate,and reduced clay content in the product.As a result,the moisture content of low-grade sulfur concentrate was gradually reduced from 25%to approximately 10%.
