浅谈太行山羊种质资源保护与利用现状OA

Taihang goat breeds are a local dual-purpose meat and cashmere breed in North China,featuring coarse feed tolerance,strong adaptability,superior meat and cashmere quality,and high breeding value.This paper reviews the physical characteristics,meat production performance,and reproductive traits of Taihang goats,and points out current issues such as the shrinking of core herds,unregulated crossbreeding,and insufficient scientific research investment.Moreover,the countermeasures were proposed such as expanding core herds through resource surveys,introducing molecular breeding techniques,and increasing financial and policy support,aiming to provide references for the conservation and efficient utilization of Taihang goats and other local goat breeds in China.
