绵羊FecB基因的分布、检测方法及应用研究进展OA
Progress on distribution,detection technologies and applications of FecB gene in sheep breeding
产羔数是评价绵羊繁殖性能的重要经济性状之一,对绵羊繁殖效率和养殖经济效益起着决定性作用.FecB基因(即BMPR-IB基因)作为绵羊多羔性状的主效基因,发现时间早、分布广且有关其作用机制的研究报道较多,是开展绵羊繁殖性状遗传改良的重要分子标记.其中c.746A>G突变形成的B等位基因,是导致湖羊、小尾寒羊等多羔绵羊品种高繁殖力的功能突变.该位点不同基因型对绵羊排卵数和产羔数存在显著加性效应与显性效应,如BB、B+基因型产羔数显著高于++基因型.文章综述了FecB基因的群体分布、基因分型方法及应用,以期为绵羊繁殖性能的精准改良和高产品种或品系的培育提供参考.
Litter size is one of the core economic traits for evaluating reproductive performance of sheep and plays a decisive role in determining the reproductive efficiency and breeding economic benefits of sheep.The FecB gene(BMPR-IB gene),as a major gene regulating the prolificacy trait in sheep,was identified early,found a wide distribution in sheep breeds,and has been extensively reported regarding its regulatory mechanisms,making it an important molecular marker in the genetic improvement of sheep reproductive traits.Among alleles of FecB Gene,the B allele generated by the c.746A>G mutation is the functional mutation that leads to high fecundity in multiporous lambing sheep breeds such as Hu sheep and Small Tail Han sheep.Different genotypes at this locus exert significant additive and dominant effects on ovulation rate and litter size in sheep,for instance,the litter size of sheep with BB and B+genotypes is significantly higher than that of the++genotype.This paper reviews the population distribution,genotyping methods and applications of the FecB gene,aiming to provide a reference for the precise improvement of sheep reproductive performance and the breeding of high-yield breeds or strains.
