[目的]为了解中国美利奴羊、白萨福克羊和澳洲白羊三元杂交肉羊体重和体尺之间的联系.[方法]试验测定了100只2周岁肉羊的体重和体长、体高、胸围、管围等体尺数据,利用SPSS 26.0软件的相关性分析、主成分分析和多元回归分析,探究成年杂交肉羊体重和体尺性状的关系,构建体重对体尺性状的最优回归模型.[结果]结果表明,杂交肉羊体重和体尺数据的变异系数从大到小依次为:体重>管围>体长>体高>胸围,体重与体高、体长、胸围、管围均呈极显著正相关(P<0.01),其中体长、胸围和管围可以解释公羊71%的体重变化,胸围和体长可以解释母羊79%的体重变化.[结论]研究结果可为杂交肉羊的选育提供科学参考.

[Objective]To explore the relationship between body weight and body measurements in tri-crossbred mutton sheep derived from Chinese Merino,White Suffolk breeds and Australian White.[Methods]Body weight and body measurements(body length,withers height,chest circumference and cannon circumference)were measured in 100 two-year-old mutton sheep.Using SPSS 26.0 software,correlation analysis,principal component analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed to establish relationships between body weight and body measurements in adult crossbred mutton sheep,and to construct optimal regression models for body weight on body measurement traits.[Results]The results indicated that the coefficients of variation for body weight and body measurements in crossbred mutton sheep,ranked from highest to lowest,were:body weight>cannon circumference>body length>withers height>chest circumference.There were extremely significant positive correlations between body weight and withers height,body length,chest circumference,and cannon circumference(P<0.01).Body length,chest circumference and cannon circumference collectively explained 71%of the variation in body weight in rams,while chest circumference and body length alone accounted for 79%of this variation in ewes.[Conclusion]Scientific reference for the selective breeding of hybrid mutton sheep can be provided by these findings.
