A point cloud hole completion method based on overexposure region transfer

针对结构光三维重建中高反光表面易产生点云空洞,造成数据缺失的问题,提出一种基于过曝区域转移的点云空洞补全方法.该方法利用物体旋转前后过曝区域位置发生转移的特性,结合图像处理与点云坐标系变换,将旋转前图像的过曝区域映射至旋转后图像的非过曝区域,再通过重建该区域点云并与原始点云拼接,实现点云空洞补全.实验结果表明,所提方法能够有效补全点云空洞.

To address the issue of data loss caused by point cloud holes on highly reflective surfaces in structured-light 3D reconstruction,a point cloud hole completion method based on overexposure region transfer was proposed.By utilizing the characteristic that the position of overexposure regions transfers before and after object rotation,and combining image processing with point cloud coordinate system transformation,this method maps the overexposure regions of the pre-rotation image to the non-overexposure regions of the post-rotation image,and then reconstructs the point cloud of this region and stitches it with the original point cloud to achieve point cloud hole completion.Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively complete point cloud holes.
