基于AI便携数智口腔检查设备的西南山区儿童龋病筛查与干预策略OA
Screening and intervention strategies for dental caries in children in mountainous areas of southwest China based on AI portable digital oral examination equipment
目的 利用人工智能(artificial intelligence,AI)便携式数智设备筛查重庆偏远山区小学生的口腔健康状况,评估该地区儿童龋病流行现状,探讨儿童口腔健康与筛查策略.方法 整群抽取重庆市丰都县仙女湖镇中心小学106名小学生作为研究对象.使用AI便携设备对受试儿童进行全面的口腔健康检查.报告患龋率、患龋颗数、患龋牙面数,计算国际龋病检测和评估系统Ⅱ评分、龋失补牙数(decay missing filling tooth,dmft)、菌斑指数(plaque index,PLI),进行牙面和牙位分组分析.结果 该小学总体患龋率为93.40%,人均患龋颗数为(7.71±4.25)颗,dmft为(6.45±4.38)颗,PLI评分(2.30±0.64)分,牙面、牙位患成洞龋的比例均高于早期龋,(牙合)面的患龋率最高.7~9岁儿童的人均患龋颗数和dmft均显著高于10~13岁儿童(P<0.05).结论 重庆市偏远山区学龄儿童患龋率极高,口腔健康状况严峻,应使用AI便携设备扩大筛查范围,增加筛查频次,做好低龄儿童的龋病防治工作.
Objective The oral health status of primary school students in remote mountainous areas of Chongqing was screened by using artificial intelligence(AI)portable digital oral examination equipment,the prevalence of dental caries among children in this area was evaluated,and the oral health of children and screening strategies were explored.Methods A total of 106 primary school students of Xiannvhu Town,Fengdu County,Chongqing City were selected as the research subjects through cluster sampling.The AI portable digital oral examination equipment was used to conduct a comprehensive oral health examination of the participants.The prevalence of caries,number of decayed teeth,and number of affected tooth surfaces were reported.International Caries Detection and Assessment SystemⅡscores,decay missing filling tooth(dmft),and plaque index(PLI)were calculated,and tooth surface and tooth position subgroup analyses was conducted.Results The overall caries prevalence rate in this primary school was 93.40%,the mean number of decayed teeth per person was 7.71±4.25,dmft was 6.45±4.38,and PLI score was 2.30±0.64.The proportions of pit-and-fissure caries were higher than those of early caries across tooth surfaces and positions,with the highest caries rate observed on occlusal surfaces.The mean number of decayed teeth and dmft per children aged 7 to 9 were significantly higher than those of children aged 10 to 13(P<0.05).Conclusion The caries prevalence rate among school-aged children in remote mountainous areas of Chongqing is extremely high,indicating a severe oral health status.AI portable digital oral examination equipment should be utilized to expand the scope of screening,increase screening frequency,and enhance caries prevention and treatment efforts for younger children.
