微藻的营养特性及其在反刍动物生产中的应用OA

Nutritional Characteristics of Microalgae and their Applications in Ruminant Production

微藻是一类缺乏高等植物真正根、茎、叶结构的光合水生生物,作为饲料应用于反刍动物生产颇具潜力.蛋白质含量高且氨基酸组成合理的微藻物种可以用来替代传统的蛋白饲料,而碳水化合物和脂肪含量高的微藻物种则可用于提供能量.微藻富含长链多不饱和脂肪酸,在改善反刍动物产品品质和抑制甲烷排放方面具有积极效应.微藻还含有对动物的健康和生殖具有有益作用的天然色素和生物活性多糖.笔者就微藻的营养特性及其对反刍动物采食量、生长和生产性能以及瘤胃发酵的影响进行综述,同时阐述饲粮中添加微藻提高反刍动物产品品质、抑制瘤胃甲烷生成、改善反刍母畜生殖机能、提高抗氧化和免疫功能的研究进展,以期为微藻在反刍动物生产中的合理应用提供参考.

Microalgae are a group of photosynthetic aquatic organisms that lack the true root,stem and leaf of higher plants.They have great potential as feed in ruminant production.Microalgae species with high protein content and reasonable amino acid composition can be used to replace traditional protein feeds,while those with high carbohydrate and fat contents can be used to provide energy for animals.Microalgae are rich in long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and have a positive effect on improving the quality of ruminant products and inhibiting methane production in rumen.Microalgae also contain natural pigments and bioactive polysaccharides that have beneficial effects on the health and reproduction of ruminants.Therefore,this article reviews the nutritional characteristics of microalgae and their effects on feed intake,growth,production performance,and rumen fermentation in ruminants.It also elaborates on the research progress regarding the addition of microalgae in improving the quality of ruminant products,inhibiting rumen methane production,enhancing the reproductive function of female ruminants,and improving antioxidant and immune functions,aiming to provide a reference for the rational application of microalgae in ruminant production.
