新型补钙产品在预防奶牛产后低血钙中的作用研究OA

To explore the improvement effect of the new calcium complement product on the risk of postpartum hypocalcemia in lactating dairy cows and optimize calcium supplementation strategies.Thirty multiparous(both at second parity)periparturient cows with similar milk production and no history of hypocalcemia were divided into two groups of 15 cows each based on calving order.The cows in the two groups were supplemented with two kind of products at the same dosage after calving,and the changes in plasma calcium concentration within 24 hours postpartum were measured.Both types of calcium supplements maintained the average plasma calcium level above the healthy range within 24 hours postpartum,with no significant difference observed(P>0.05).However,new product,with its unique design,effervescent technology,and calcium formate content,achieved rapid calcium supplementation within 1 hour postpartum and sustained calcium supplementation within 24 hours,showing a slight advantage.Both them have significant effects in preventing postpartum hypocalcemia in lactating dairy cows,and are recommended for the prevention of postpartum paralysis in cows at second parity and above.
