半导体激光辅助牙周基础治疗对重度牙周炎的临床效果观察OA

Objective To investigate the application effect of diode laser-assisted non-surgical periodontal therapy in patients with severe periodontitis,providing a reference for optimizing clinical treatment protocols.Methods 86 patients with severe periodontitis(stageⅢ periodontitis)admitted to the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from August 2024 to August 2025 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using a random number table,with 43 patients in each group.The control group received non-surgical periodontal therapy alone,while the observation group received diode laser-assisted therapy on the basis of the control group.The treatment success rate,periodontal parameters[probing depth(PD),attachment loss(AL),bleeding index(BI),tooth mobility(TM)],and pain degree were compared between the two groups.Results The treatment success rate at 2 months post-treatment in the observation group was 97.67%,significantly higher than 81.40%in the control group(P<0.05).No statistically significant difference was found between the two groups in AL and TM after treatment(P>0.05);PD,BI,and pain scores after treatment in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions Diode laser-assisted non-surgical periodontal therapy can improve the treatment success rate for severe periodontitis,which is beneficial to reduce periodontal probing depth and gingival bleeding,and alleviate postoperative pain,and has significant clinical value.
