Natural gas mercury removal process and selection
天然气脱汞有多种工艺,掌握不同脱汞工艺的特点,对于开展脱汞工艺优选、实现天然气低成本高效脱汞具有重要意义.在分析不同天然气脱汞工艺特点的基础上,提出了不同天然气汞质量浓度控制指标下的脱汞工艺优选建议.低温分离脱汞工艺对天然气中的汞有很强的脱除能力,但脱汞深度有限,还需对乙二醇再生气和醇烃液闪蒸气进行脱汞,而且会在低温流程中析出大量液态汞,污染设备,造成检修困难.研究结果表明:当天然气汞质量浓度控制指标为28 μg/m3时,对于低高含汞天然气和中高含汞天然气宜采用不可再生湿气脱汞工艺,尽可能在处理厂前端消除汞的污染;对于特高含汞天然气,为降低不可再生脱汞剂的使用量,可采用低温分离与不可再生脱汞组合工艺或可再生脱汞工艺.当天然气汞质量浓度控制指标为0.01 μg/m3时,为避免液态水和烃对脱汞剂性能的影响,宜采用干气化学脱汞工艺.因国内外天然气脱汞经验偏少,研究结果对天然气脱汞工程设计具有指导意义.
There are various processes for mercury removal from natural gas.Mastering the characteristics of different mercury removal processes is of great significance for process selection and achieving low-cost and efficient mercury removal from natural gas.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of different natural gas mercury removal processes,this study provides recommendations for process selection under different mercury concentration control targets.The low-temperature separation mercury removal process has a strong capability to remove mercury from natural gas,but the removal efficiency is limited.Additionally,mercury removal is required for ethylene glycol regenerated gas and alcohol-hydrocarbon liquid flash gas.Moreover,a large amount of liquid mercury precipitates in the low-temperature process,polluting equipment and causing maintenance difficulties.Study results show that when the mercury concentration control target is 28 μg/m3,non-regenerable wet gas mercury removal processes can be used for natural gas with low-high and mid-high mercury content to eliminate mercury contamination as close to the front as possible in the processing plant.For natural gas with ultra-high mercury content,to reduce the consumption of non-regenerable mercury removal agents,a combination of low-temperature separation and non-regenerable mercury removal processes or regenerable mercury removal processes can be used.When the mercury concentration control target is 0.01 μg/m3,it is recommended to use dry gas chemical mercury removal process to avoid the adverse effects of liquid water and hydrocarbons on the performance of mercury adsorbent.Due to the limited experience in natural gas mercury removal both domestically and internationally,this study provides valuable guidance for the design of natural gas mercury removal projects.
