In response to Baowu Group's Four strategy(high-end,intelligent,green,efficient)pro-posed in 2023,Baoshan Base of Baosteel Co.,Ltd.launched the Equipment Status Data Application Sys-tem(iEDAS platform)in 2024.This system enables on-site equipment managers to achieve efficient re-mote monitoring of key production line equipment and precise grasp of equipment status.This paper elabo-rates on the technical solutions and practical applications of data collection and remote operation mainte-nance for the wire rod production line,one of the benchmark demonstration production lines of the iEDAS platform.Through the data collection architecture based on the PDA system,a large amount of equipment and process data from the wire rod production line has been collected.Detection devices have been installed for key equipment such as rolling mills and high-voltage equipment,laying the foundation for more accu-rately grasping the trend of equipment status changes and achieving remote intelligent maintenance.Rel-ying on the iEDAS platform,on-site managers can efficiently implement remote monitoring and status surveillance of critical equipment.Currently,the intelligent inspection rate of the wire rod production line has reached 29%,and downtime has been reduced by approximately 10%compared to before implementa-tion.
