Against the backdrop of the accelerated development of digital economy,new quality productivity driven by digital technology is reshaping production methods and industrial division of labor,providing crucial support for promoting the leap of manufacturing from low-end processing to high value-added links.This paper matches the industry data with the enterprise data from 2010 to 2024,and uses the fixed effect model,mediating effect model and moderating effect model to conduct an empirical analysis of how digital new quality productivity affects the embedding of global value chains,and also explores the action mecha-nism of technology transfer networks in this process.The results show that the development of digital new quality productivity can significantly promote the improvement of the global value chain embedding level.This conclusion still holds true after a series of robustness tests including changing the variable measurement method,introducing instrumental variable,changing the estimation method and data tailing processing.The results of the mechanism test reveal that digital new quality productivity can indirectly promote the embedding of the global value chain by improving the technology transfer network.The results of the moderating effect analysis show that as the degree of market integration continues to rise,the driving effect of digital new quality productivity on global value chain embedding is gradually strengthening.The results of heterogeneity analysis show that in processing trade and technology-intensive industries,the promoting effect of digital new quality productivity on the embedding of the global value chain is more significant.
