VR Simulation Study on Horizontal Evacuation Performance Prediction in Care Facilities for Older Adults Adapted for Visual Impairment
机构养老设施视障老年人安全疏散研究仍明显不足.采用VR模拟方法,还原常见老年人视力障碍特征,借助机构养老设施标准层典型示例3D建模进行水平疏散实验,揭示平面布局、疏散标识与疏散效率的内在关联,构建适配视障人因的机构养老设施建筑平面水平疏散性能预测模型,并从空间与管理两个层面提出安全韧性相关提升策略.
Research on the safety evacuation of visually impaired older adults in institutional care facilities remains substantially inadequate.This study employs VR simulation technology to replicate the visual characteristics of common age-related ocular impairments.Leveraging a 3D model of a representative standard floor in institutional care facilities,we conducted horizontal evacuation experiments to examine the intrinsic relationships between spatial configuration,evacuation signage,and evacuation efficiency.A human factors-adapted predictive model was developed to quantitatively evaluate horizontal evacuation performance in architectural layouts of care facilities.Furthermore,evidence-based strategies for enhancing safety resilience were proposed from both spatial design and facility management perspectives.
