Research on the Generation Method of Freeform Meshes with Planar Panels Based on Principal Curvature Lines:Taking Quadrilateral as an Example
自由曲面形体作为当代建筑创作的重要组成部分,其精益建造仍面临费用高、修改多和效率低的现实问题.曲面嵌板化是解决复杂形体设计与建造整合难题的有效途径,亟需探析其在建筑设计中的应用范畴和操作规律.本文立足参数化建模环境,以平面四边形嵌板化为例,以基于主曲率线的自由曲面建筑网格平面化生成方法为研究内容,对其基本步骤及核心算法进行详细阐述,并通过案例实验揭示设计要点,旨在提升设计效率、改善方案合理性,推动曲面建筑设计技术的发展与实践应用.
Freeform surfaces are an important part of contemporary architectural design,but their lean construction still presents practical challenges,including high costs,frequent modifications,and low efficiency.Surface panelisation is an effective method for addressing the integration challenges of complex form design and construction,and its application scope and operational rules need urgent exploration in the context of architectural design.This paper focuses on parametric modelling environments and takes the example of planar quadrilateral panelisation.The core algorithm and tool development are elaborated in detail,and the design points of the method are revealed through numerous case validations.The research aims to improve design efficiency,enhance the rationality of solutions,and ultimately promote the development and practical application of freeform architectural design technology.
