International Research Progress in Numerical Classification and Ordination of Vegetation
通过植被数量分类与排序,能够更加客观准确地揭示植物种间及其与环境因子间的生态关系.在过去70多年中,数量分类和排序方法持续探索,应用领域逐步扩大,分析软件和统计分析工具不断拓展.文中从分类方法、分类方法评估、排序方法、排序与分类方法结合应用以及分析软件5个方面阐述国外植被数量分类与排序研究进展,特别是1990年以来的新进展,包括多元回归树、自适应仿射传播聚类、几何与非几何评估、无度量多维标定排序、双向指示种分析、除趋势对应分析等排序与分类方法的结合应用以及CANOCO和JUICE统计分析工具等.相较于使用单一的数量分类或排序方法,多种方法协同应用能够获得更为科学的分类与排序结果.
Numerical classification and ordination of vegetation can reveal the ecological relationships among plant species and their interactions with environmental factors more objectively and accurately.Over the past 70 years,methods for numerical classification and ordination have been continuously developed,gradually expanding their application fields,and analytical software and statistical tools have consistently developed.This paper elaborates on the international research progress in vegetation numerical classification and ordination in terms of classification methods,evaluation of classification methods,ordination methods,integrated application of ordination and classification methods,and analytical software,and a particular focus is put on the progress since 1990,including classification methods such as multivariate regression trees(MRT)and adaptive affinity propagation clustering(AAPC),classification evaluation methods like geometric and non-geometric evaluation,ordination methods such as non-metric multi-dimensional scaling(NMDS),combined application of ordination and classification methods such as two-way indicator species analysis(TWINSPAN)and detrended correspondence analysis(DCA),as well as statistical analysis tools such as CANOCO and JUICE.Compared to using a single quantitative classification or ordination method,the synergistic application of multiple methods can yield more scientific classification and ordination results.
