低功耗蓝牙邻居发现协议时延研究与优化OA
Optimization on latency of Bluetooth low energy neighbor discovery
针对低功耗蓝牙邻居发现时延难以分析的问题,利用单信道邻居发现与多信道邻居发现时延、确定性周期广播模式与随机时延广播模式下时延的近似关系进行研究.将时延计算建模为块覆盖问题,得到确定性周期广播模式下多信道协议时延表达式.进一步,推导了能量效率最佳的工作参数.仿真结果验证了时延计算的准确性,并且提出的最佳工作参数在确定性周期广播模式与随机时延广播模式下均具有近似最高的能量效率.
Neighbor discovery is an essential step for networking.In Bluetooth low energy(BLE)neigh-bor discovery,however,analyzing discovery latency is considered challenging.This paper investigates the approximate relation between the latency of single-channel and the multi-channel protocols,as well as between periodic deterministic advertising and pseudo-random delay advertising modes.By modeling the calculation of latency as discrete block-covering problem,we derive an approximate formulation of la-tency.Further,we derive the lower bound of average latency and optimal parameters.Simulation results verify the accuracy of our method,and demonstrate that the proposed parameters achieve near-optimal energy efficiency for both periodic deterministic advertising and pseudo-random delay advertising modes,compared to existing schemes.This work provides practial guidelines for the selecting energy-efficient pa-rameters in BLE neighbor discovery.
