Analysis of Cracking at the Elbow of a Waste Incineration Boiler Superheater Pipe

某垃圾焚烧余热锅炉,在煮炉第三阶段临近结束时,发现炉顶二级过热器出口连接管道弯头泄漏.取样后采用宏观分析、化学分析、力学性能试验、金相检验、能谱分析等方法,分析了弯头泄漏原因.结果表明:锅炉煮炉过程中碱性溶液进入了过热器,在弯管残余应力及工作应力与其他应力的叠加作用下弯头发生碱性应力腐蚀开裂.

Near the end of the third stage of boiler boiling-out of a waste incineration waste heat boiler,leakage was found at the elbow of the outlet connecting pipe of the roof secondary superheater.After sampling,methods such as macroscopic analysis,chemical analysis,mechanical property tests,metallographic examination,and energy spectrum analysis were used to investigate the cause of the elbow leakage.The results indicate that alkaline solution entered the superheater during the boiler boiling-out.Under the combined action of residual stress in the elbow,operational stress,and other stresses,the elbow experienced alkaline stress corrosion cracking.
