Differences in ecological quality along road corridors in Qilian Mountain National Park:Case study of G227 highway and Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway

交通基础设施对生态敏感区的扰动亟须深入量化解析.由于不同类型交通基础设施在空间布局、工程结构和运行方式方面存在显著差异,其对沿线生态环境的干扰强度亦表现出明显差异性.文中以祁连山国家公园内G227公路与兰-新高铁为研究对象,构建基于自编码器的遥感生态指数(AE-RSEI),融合2015-2024年遥感影像数据,系统对比分析两条交通廊道沿线2000m缓冲区内的生态质量演变特征,并借助地理探测器揭示生态质量差异的驱动因素.研究发现:1)交通线路对生态系统的扰动呈现出典型的距离衰减规律,1250m为显著影响的空间阈值.2)两种交通方式的生态响应存在差异,G227公路沿线生态质量总体改善,但AE-RSEI值整体低于兰-新高铁.G227公路对周边生态的持续干扰范围更广,而兰-新高铁的生态影响则相对集中且波动较小.文中研究揭示了公路与铁路在生态敏感区内影响强度和演化路径上的差异特征,为类似区域交通建设的生态影响评估与调控提供了参考.研究建议在生态敏感区域规划交通设施时可优先考虑铁路等封闭式线路,以降低生态扰动.

Quantifying disturbances from transportation infrastructure in ecologically sensitive areas remains necessary.This study targets the G227 highway and the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway(Lan-Xin HSR)within Qilian Mountain National Park.An autoencoder-based remote sensing ecological index(AE-RSEI)was constructed by integrating multi-source imagery from 2015-2024,and ecological quality dynamics were compared within 2,000m buffers along both corridors.GeoDetector was employed to identify drivers of inter-corridor differences.Results indicate a clear distance-decay pattern of disturbance,with 1,250m identified as a significant spatial threshold.Ecological responses differ between the two corridor types:along the G227 highway,ecological quality is improved overall but AE-RSEI values remain lower than those along the Lan-Xin HSR.The highway exhibits a broader and more persistent disturbance footprint,whereas the ecological impacts from HSR are spatially concentrated and less variable.These findings reveal contrasted impact intensity and evolutionary pathways between highways and railways in sensitive landscapes,and provide an evidence base for ecological assessment and regulation of similar projects.Priority should be given to closed,access-controlled rail corridors when planning infrastructure in such areas to reduce ecological disturbance.
