大规模风电经柔直送出系统交流汇集线路,因两侧换流器采用负序电流抑制策略导致不对称故障特征微弱,为解决现有工频量交流保护性能不足的问题,提出一种适用于大规模风电经柔直送出系统交流汇集线路的测距式纵联保护方案.首先剖析现有距离保护不正确动作机理,结合不同故障下的等值序网图及边界约束方程,利用双端电气量信息及实虚部分离算法,在送端换流站采用主动负序电流控制策略时,分析送端换流站侧保护安装处至故障位置的距离比例系数解析式.然后,基于该故障距离比例系数构造高灵敏保护启动判据,实现区内外故障的判断.最后,在PSCAD/EMTDC平台上搭建双端柔直送出系统仿真模型.仿真结果表明,所提保护方案可以准确判别区内外故障,同时不受负序电流注入幅值、线路长度及过渡电阻的影响.

To overcome the limitations of the existing power-frequency-based AC protection in a large-scale wind power transmission system via MMC-HVDC,where the negative-sequence current suppression strategy adopted by converters at both ends of the AC collection lines weakens the asymmetrical fault characteristics,a pilot protection scheme based on measured distance is proposed,which is suitable for AC collection lines in the large-scale wind power transmission system via MMC-HVDC.First,the misoperation mechanism of the existing distance protection is analyzed.By combin⁃ing the equivalent sequence network diagrams and boundary constraint equations under different fault scenarios,the two-end electrical quantity information and the real-imaginary part separation algorithm are utilized,and an analytical expression for the distance ratio coefficient from the protection installation location on the side of the sending-end con⁃verter station to the fault location is derived when an active negative-sequence current control strategy is adopted at the sending-end converter station.Based on this fault distance ratio coefficient,a highly sensitive protection initiation crite⁃rion is formulated to distinguish the internal and external faults.A simulation model of the two-end transmission system via MMC-HVDC is established on the PSCAD/EMTDC platform,and simulation results indicate that the proposed pro⁃tection scheme can accurately distinguish the internal and external faults.Meanwhile,this scheme is not affected by the amplitude of injected negative-sequence current,line length or transition resistance.
