中国与RCEP国家贸易竞争及互补关系研究OA
Trade competition and complementarity between China and other RCEP countries:A social network analysis
运用社会网络分析方法(Social Network Analysis)研究2011-2019年RCEP15国间的贸易竞争与贸易互补关系.结果表明:(1)RCEP15国货物贸易总额约占全球贸易总额的30%.(2)中国对RCEP协定覆盖成员国的货物贸易处于贸易逆差状态.仅2019年,中国就为RCEP其他国家提供了约900亿美元的净市场空间.(3)RCEP成员间两两贸易联系紧密,其中贸易互补关系明显大于贸易竞争关系.中国在贸易互补关系和出口关系网络中均占据主导地位.(4)虽然中国在RCEP竞争关系网络中的位置越来越中心化,但从总体上看,中国与各国的货物贸易结构互补优势大于出口结构趋同的竞争趋势.因此,中国与RCEP国家之间经贸合作潜力巨大.中国应扩大贸易合作领域,以大国引领作用,不断提升贸易开放水平,捍卫多边贸易体制,推动贸易和投资自由化.
This study applies Social Network Analysis(SNA)to investigate trade competition and trade complementarity among the 15 RCEP member countries during the period 2011-2019.The results indicate that the total merchandise trade of RCEP members accounts for approximately 30%of global trade,highlighting the bloc's significant role in the world trading system.China maintains an overall trade deficit with other RCEP members covered by the agreement,and in 2019 alone,provided nearly USD 90 billion in net market space for partner economies. Network analysis shows that bilateral trade linkages among RCEP members are dense,with trade complementarity substantially exceeding trade competition.China occupies a central and dominant position in both the trade complementarity network and the export relationship network.Although China's position within the RCEP trade competition network has become increasingly centralized over time,overall complementarities in merchandise trade structures between China and other RCEP members remain stronger than competitive pressures arising from export structure convergence. These findings suggest considerable potential for deeper economic and trade cooperation between China and other RCEP countries.China should further expand areas of trade collaboration,enhance its leadership as a major trading nation,continuously improve the level of trade openness,safeguard the multilateral trading system,and promote the liberalization of trade and investment.
