[目的]通过研究扦插及水培条件下20个薄荷品种3个部位(嫩枝、中部和基部)的生根能力,筛选出易于繁殖推广的薄荷材料,为薄荷的规模化生产和推广提供参考.[方法]以20个薄荷品种的3个部位为材料,分别进行扦插和水培试验,测定扦插及水培后薄荷生根率和根长等指标,并进行评价分析.[结果]薄荷中部扦插成活率高,根长长,"巧克力薄荷"扦插成活率最高,"皱叶薄荷"扦插成活率最低,"绿薄荷"根长最长,"白猫薄荷"根长最短.水培可以缩短薄荷的育苗时间,插穗3 d开始生根.嫩枝与基部和中部相比,生根时间长,根长短,生根率高."巧克力薄荷"水培易生根,"白猫薄荷"水培难生根,"糖果薄荷"根长最长,"白猫薄荷"根长最短.除了"白猫薄荷"其他品种水培15 d后生根率均达100%.水培处理移栽后大部分薄荷的成活率为100%,其中嫩枝的移栽成活率最好.[结论]薄荷不同品种和部位生根能力有差异,扦插难易程度不同,中部扦插的效果最好,"绿薄荷"等生根容易,"草莓薄荷"等生根情况一般,"白猫薄荷"等生根难.除了"白猫薄荷"不适合水培外,其他品种均可扦插和水培,薄荷嫩枝水培和移栽成活率均很高,是水培的首选部位,相比较于扦插,水培育苗时间短,出苗整齐一致.

[Objective]By studying the rooting ability of 3 parts(tender branch,middle part,and base)of 20 Mentha canadensis varieties un-der cutting and hydroponic conditions to screen Mentha canadensis materials that are easy to propagate and promote,providing reference for the large-scale production and promotion of Mentha canadensis.[Method]Using 3 parts of 20 Mentha canadensis varieties as materials,cutting and hydroponic experiments were conducted to determine the rooting rate and root length for evaluation and analysis.[Result]The survival rate of Mentha canadensis cuttings in the middle part was high,and the root length was also long.The survival rate of"Mentha×piperita cv.Choco-late"cuttings was the highest,the survival rate of"Melissa officinalis"cuttings was the lowest,the root length of"Mentha spicata"was the lon-gest,and the root length of"Nepeta cataria"was the shortest.Hydroponic cultivation could shorten the seedling growth time of Mentha canaden-sis.After 3 d of planting,the cutting begin to take root.Compared with the base and middle parts,tender branches had longer rooting time,lon-ger roots,and higher rooting rate."Mentha×piperita cv.Chocolate"was easy to root in hydroponics,"Nepeta cataria"was difficult to root in hydroponics,"Mentha×piperita cv.Candy"had the longest root length,and"Nepeta cataria"had the shortest root length.Except for"Nepeta cataria",all other varieties had a rooting rate of 100%after 15 d of hydroponics.The survival rate of most Mentha canadensis after hydroponic treatment and transplantation was 100%,with the best survival rate observed in the transplantation of tender branches.[Conclusion]The rooting ability of different varieties and parts of Mentha canadensis varies,and the difficulty of cutting varies,The effect of middle part cutting is the best.Among them,"Mentha spicata"have easier rooting ability;the rooting situation of"Mentha spicata cv.Strawberry"is ordinary,while"Nepeta cataria"is difficult to root.Except for"Nepeta cataria"which is not suitable for hydroponic cultivation,all other varieties can be prop-agated and hydroponically cultivated.The hydroponic and transplanting survival rates of Mentha canadensis tender branches are high,making it the preferred location for hydroponic cultivation.Compared with propagation,hydroponic cultivation has a shorter seedling growth time and uni-form emergence.
