川西地区雅江县雅砻江干流在普巴绒乡发育六级河流阶地,阶地之上红色黏土呈披覆状堆积.对河流阶地及其上覆红色黏土发育特征进行现场调查,通过光释光测年、孢粉分析及粒度分析等手段,探讨了阶地发育的气候环境条件,以及上覆红色黏土成因,查明了研究区雅砻江河谷演化历史,结果表明:普巴绒段河流阶地类型均为基座阶地,各级阶地拔河高度介于 10~189 m,其中T2和T3阶地形成于末次间冰期,时代分别为(87.7±4.1)ka和(101.5±4.8)ka,指示河谷下切速率约为 2.03~2.42 m/kyr,阶地发育时期植被类型为稀树草原,以草本植物为主.阶地上覆黄土最早形成于约(70.3±3.4)ka~(70.0±2.9)ka,是川西高原普遍发育的风成黄土经历了后期暖湿气候下的成壤作用的结果,其物质来源具有多源性,局部具有后期沿斜坡发生近源短距离搬运后再堆积的特点,红壤化期间,植被类型以森林植被为主.末次间冰期气候波动是触发河流下切及阶地形成的关键,而末次间冰期向冰期气候的转变是导致区内黄土沉积发育的重要因素.

In Yajiang County,western Sichuan Province,six levels of river terraces have developed along the mainstream area of the Yalong River in Pubarong Township,with red clay covering the terraces.Field investigations were conducted on the development characteristics of the river terraces and the overlying red clay.This study investigates the development characteristics of these terraces and the overlying red clay through field surveys,supplemented by optically stimulated luminescence(OSL)dating,pollen analysis,and grain size analysis.The aim is to discuss the climatic and environmental conditions during terrace formation and to determine the genesis of the overlying red clay.The evolution history of the Yalong River valley in the study area was clarified,with the main findings as follows:(1)The terraces in Pubarong Township are all pedestal terraces,standing 10-189 m above the river level.The T2 and T3 terraces formed during the last interglacial period,with ages of(87.7±4.1)ka and(101.5±4.8)ka,respectively,indicating a valley incision rate of approximately 2.03-2.42 m/kyr.The vegetation during the terrace formation was sparse grassland dominated by herbaceous plants.(2)The loess covering the terraces was deposited around(70.3±3.4)ka to(70.0±2.9)ka and represents wind-blown loess typical of the western Sichuan Plateau under a warm and humid climate.The loess material was derived from multiple sources,and locally,it has the characteristics of being transported and accumulated along slopes in the later stages.(3)During the laterization,vegetation shifted to forest-dominated communities.Climatic fluctuations during the last interglacial period were the key to triggering river incision and terrace formation.The transition from the last interglacial to glacial climate was an important factor in promoting loess deposition in the region.
