昌都地块西缘甲丕拉组地层时代、物源及构造背景:来自孢粉组合、地球化学和碎屑锆石年代学的制约OA
Stratigraphic age,provenance and tectonic settings of Jiapila Formation in the western margin of Qamdo Block:Evidence from sporopollen,geochemistry,and zircon U-Pb ages of clastic rock
为探讨晚三叠世昌都地块西缘的物源属性和构造背景,本文选取昌都地块甲丕拉组为研究目标,系统开展了孢粉分析、岩石地球化学及碎屑锆石测年工作.本文首次报道在藏东昌都地区甲丕拉组发现孢粉化石,其以优势分子裸子植物孢粉Classopollis、Concentrisporites、Chasmatosporite和蕨类植物孢粉Deltoidospora、Cyathidites为组合特征,显示其沉积时期属干旱炎热的热带—亚热带型气候.结合前人资料和最年轻碎屑锆石年龄 213 Ma,将甲丕拉组时代厘定为晚三叠世诺丽期.岩石地球化学特征表明甲丕拉组物源主要来自上地壳的长英质火山岩,较高的成分变异指数(ICV=2.02~2.95)指示其沉积于构造活动相对频繁的环境,多重构造判别图解表明物源区主要来自活动大陆边缘和大陆岛弧.甲丕拉组碎屑锆石年龄主要集中在 267~213 Ma、483~434 Ma、1 030~977 Ma和 1 890~1 730 Ma四个年龄区间,与西侧拉萨地块、左贡地块和东侧扬子地块、义敦岛弧同时期地层有较大差异,与北羌塘地块具有一致的碎屑锆石年龄峰值分布特征,指示昌都地块与北羌塘地块具有相似的物源和密切亲缘关系.结合区域构造演化认识,认为甲丕拉组形成于弧-陆碰撞造山作用下的弧后前陆盆地构造环境.
To reveal the provenance and tectonic setting of the western margin of the Qamdo Block in the Late Triassic,the Jiapila Formation was selected as the target for sporo-pollen analysis,petrogeochemistry and detrital zircon dating.This paper presents,for the first time,the discovery of sporopollen fossils found in the Jiapila Formation,eastern Xizang.It is characterized by the combination of dominant molecules gymnosperms Classopollis,Concentrisporites,Chasmatosporite,and pteridophytes Deltoidospora,Cyathidite,which reflects that the sedimentary period was arid and hot tropical-subtropical climate.Based on the previous data and the youngest detrital zircon age of 213 Ma,the age of Jiapila Formation is preliminatively determined to be the Late Triassic Norian.The geochemical characteristics of the rocks show that the provenance of the formation is mainly from the felsic volcanic rocks in the upper crust.The high compositional variation index(ICV values range from 2.02 to 2.95)indicates that the Jiapila Formation was deposited in a relatively active tectonic environment.The multiple structural discrimination diagram shows that the source area is mainly from the active continental margin and continental island arc.The ages of the detrital zircons of the Jiapila Formation are mainly concentrated in four ranges:267-213 Ma,483-434 Ma,1 030-977 Ma,and 1 890-1 730 Ma,which are quite different from that of the Lhasa Block and Zuogong Block in the west,as well as the Yangtze Block and the Yidun Island Arc in the east.The age peak distribution of detrital zircons is consistent with that of the North Qiangtang Block,indicating that the Qamdo Block and the North Qiangtang Block have similar provenance and close affinity.Combined with the regional tectonic evolution data,it is believed that the Jiapila Formation was formed in the back-arc foreland basin resulting from arc-continent collisions.
