Chloroiridic acid is a very important basic iridium compound and a key basic raw material for synthesizing other iridium functional complexes.It has very important applications in fields such as organic synthesis,manufacturing iridium-based coated electrode materials,iridi-um-based catalysts for hydrogen production from water electrolysis,and supported iridium-based catalysts.It is an indispensable key material in modern chemical industry,electronic industry,and electrochemical energy technology.Therefore,it is particularly important to achieve the batch preparation and production of high-quality chloroiridic acid.This paper discusses the common production processes and synthesis status of chloroiridic acid,comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various methods,and points out the development trend of the chloroiridic acid production process.
