树木衰老的分子与细胞标识研究进展OA
Investigating the Molecular and Cellular Hallmarks of Tree Aging and Their Theoretical and Practical Significance
模式植物的衰老有10种分子与细胞迹象,多年生的树木是否存在衰老分子与细胞标识是值得研究的问题.本文综述了树木的生物学共性,以及树木与动物、一年生植物的差异,梳理了树木个体衰老与器官老化的特征及树木衰老标识方面的研究进展.1)从植物生理学和植物遗传学视角重新界定树木个体的概念;2)将衰老(aging)应用于树木个体随年龄增长的生理与病理变化过程和结果,将老化(senescence)应用于树木器官随年龄增长的生理与病理变化过程和结果;3)论证了树木衰老的2个新标识:慢性衰退(chronic decline)和菌群失调(dysbiosis),进而提出树木衰老的12个分子与细胞标识;4)就古树医学研究的学科支撑、试验体系、发展方向提出新见解.树木衰老研究有利于揭示古树的长寿机制、解析衰弱古树修复原理、丰富古树名木保护理论,并为古树保护实践提供支撑.
It was reported that there were twelve hallmarks of human aging,and research on model plants indicated that there were ten molecular and cellular signs accompanying the aging process of plants.Do pe-rennial trees have molecular and cellular hallmarks of aging?This is still an open question.This study summarizes the biological commonalities of trees,as well as the differences among trees,animals,and annu-al plants.It reviews the feature of individual tree aging and organ senescence,and focuses on the research progress of tree aging hallmarks.The following new perspectives and inspirations are formed:1)The con-cept'tree individual'was redefined from the perspectives of plant physiology and plant genetics.2)Aging was applied to the physiological and pathological changes and outcomes of individual trees as they grow older,while senescence to the physiological and pathological changes and outcomes of tree organs as they grow older;3)Two new hallmarks of tree aging were identified,e.g.chronic decline and dysbiosis,leading to the proposal of twelve molecular and cellular hallmarks of tree aging;4)New insights have been pro-posed on the disciplinary support,experimental system,and development direction of tree biogerontology research.The study of tree aging will be beneficial to reveal the longevity mechanism of ancient trees,ana-lyze the restoration principles of weakened ancient trees,enrich the theory of ancient and notable tree pro-tection,and support the practice of ancient tree protection.
