柴达木盆地北缘近年来陆续发现一批新生界砂岩型铀矿点.以中新统上油砂山组为研究层位,通过野外调查、岩心观察、沉积建造和岩石地球化学等分析,从沉积学的角度探讨铀矿化的发育条件及其成矿机制.研究表明:上油砂山组砂岩主要为岩屑长石砂岩和长石岩屑砂岩,沉积期处于寒冷干燥的古气候环境.沉积环境为辫状河三角洲前缘沉积为主,其砂体整体表现为"下粗上细"的正旋回特征,水下分流河道或水下分流河道与分流间湾过渡微相为铀矿化富集有利部位.砂体厚度及沉积微相控制铀矿化的空间展布,其砂体具有较好的连通性,为含矿流体的运移和沉淀提供了良好的空间,可为今后的铀资源勘查工作提供参考.

Recently,several Cenozoic sandstone-type uranium occurrences have been successively discovered along the northern margin of the Qaidam basin.Taking the Upper Youshashan formation of the Miocene series as the target horizon,this study integrates field mapping,core logging,sedimentary architecture and geochemical analyses to elucidate the sedimentological controls and metallogenic mechanism of uranium mineralization.The Upper Youshashan formation sandstones are predominantly lithic arkoses and feldspathic litharenites,formed during a depositional stage governed by a cold-arid paleoclimate.The sedimentary environment was dominated by braided river delta front deposits,and the sand bodies generally exhibit a positive cyclicity characterized by"coarse at the bottom and fine at the top".The subaqueous distributary channel microfacies,as well as the transitional microfacies between subaqueous distributary channels and interdistributary bays,provide favorable locations for the enrichment of uranium mineralization.Sand-body thickness and sedimentary microfacies dictate the spatial distribution of mineralization,whereas the high connectivity of the reservoir sandstones provided efficient conduits and traps for ore-forming fluids.This research result can provide a theoretical basis and practical reference for subsequent uranium resource exploration in the region.
