全球人口老龄化与少子化通过多渠道冲击经济增长,人工智能能否、如何及在何种条件下有效补偿老龄化的经济抑制效应仍不明确.研究构建了一个内含"技术补偿—制度适配—文化调适"机制的整合分析框架,利用2000-2022年28个国家的面板数据,采用系统GMM与面板门槛模型进行实证检验.研究发现:第一,人工智能对老龄化存在显著的非线性补偿效应,且存在一个约为7.2%的渗透率临界阈值;当人工智能渗透率低于该阈值时,老龄化对经济增长的抑制效应占主导,而一旦渗透率超越该阈值,技术补偿效应将主导经济增长逻辑,使得老龄化对经济增长的净效应由负转正.第二,制度环境与文化因素对技术补偿效能具有系统性调节作用,政策响应强度越高、文化包容性越强,人工智能技术对老龄化抑制效应的补偿作用就越大,能使补偿弹性提升约30%—50%.第三,技术补偿效应存在显著的异质性,政府主导型经济体因其更强的政策执行力与社会共识,其补偿效应显著强于福利依赖型经济体;同时,在人工智能高关联行业主要通过技能增强路径实现强补偿,而在自动化制造业则通过劳动替代路径实现部分补偿.研究为发展中国家通过"技术—制度—文化"三元协同治理应对人口结构转型提供了理论依据与精准的政策路径.

Global population aging and declining birth rates are impacting economic growth through multiple channels.It remains unclear whether,how,and under what conditions artificial intelligence(AI)can effectively counteract the economic inhibitory effects of aging.This paper constructs an integrated analytical framework incorporating"technology compensation-institutional adaptation-cultural accommodation"mechanisms and employs a panel data of 28 countries from 2000 to 2022 to conduct empirical tests using the system GMM and panel threshold models for empirical testing.The findings reveal that:Firstly,AI exerts a significant nonlinear compensation effect on aging,with a critical threshold of approximately 7.2%in penetration rate.When AI penetration rate is below this threshold,the inhibitory effect of aging on economic growth dominates.However,once the penetration rate exceeds this threshold,the technological compensation effect takes the lead in the economic growth logic,turning the net effect of aging on economic growth from negative to positive.Secondly,institutional and cultural factors systematically moderate the effectiveness of technological compensation.The higher policy responsiveness and stronger cultural inclusiveness,the greater the compensatory effect of AI technology on the inhibitory effect of aging,which can increase the compensation elasticity by approximately 30%to 50%.Thirdly,the technological compensation effect shows significant heterogeneity.Government-led economies,due to their stronger policy execution and social consensus,have a significantly stronger compensation effect than welfare-dependent economies.Furthermore,strong compensation is primarily achieved through a"skill-augmenting"path in AI-highly-related industries,while partial compensation occurs through a"labor-substituting"path in automated manufacturing.This study provides a theoretical basis and precise policy pathway for developing countries to address demographic transition through"technology-institution-culture"synergistic governance.
