不同光周期对岭南山竹子生存率、叶片结构及光合特性的影响OA
Effects of Different Photoperiods on the Survival Rate,Leaf Structure,and Photosynthetic Characteristics of Garcinia oblongifolia
岭南山竹子是海南长臂猿活动区周边人工林恢复重建优先选择树种,光照被认为是其成活的关键环境因子之一.通过设置不同光周期(自然、长、短)条件,研究岭南山竹子生长存活、叶片结构和光合生理特性的变化,为探明岭南山竹子生长发育最适的光周期提供理论依据.结果表明:(1)短光周期下岭南山竹子存活率显著低于自然光周期和长光周期;(2)自然光周期和长光周期的岭南山竹子叶片叶绿素a、叶绿素b、总的叶绿素显著低于短光周期,而叶绿素a/叶绿素b显著高于短光周期;(3)自然光周期的岭南山竹子叶片明度值(L*)、黄度值(b*)和饱和度值(C*)均随着时间呈上升趋势,红绿度值(a*)随时间呈下降趋势,而长光周期和短光周期的各色差指标随时间变化趋势较为复杂;(4)长光周期的岭南山竹子叶片气孔宽度、气孔面积、气孔密度、气孔开张度和气孔开张比均显著高于自然光周期和短光周期,但其气孔长度显著低于短光周期;(5)短光周期的岭南山竹子叶片栅栏组织厚度、栅海比、叶片结构紧密度、气孔导度、蒸腾速率和胞间 CO2 浓度均显著低于自然光周期和长光周期,长光周期和短光周期的净光合速率均显著低于自然光周期,且长光周期和短光周期的净光合速率无显著差异.以上结果说明,短光周期主要通过影响岭南山竹子光合特性,降低其净光合速率,进而影响岭南山竹子成活率.因此认为,在人工林恢复重建中,光周期是影响植物成活率的主要因素之一.本研究对海南长臂猿活动区周边人工林恢复重建具有重要的意义.
Garcinia oblongifolia is a priority tree species for the restoration and reconstruction of planted forests surrounding the habitat of the Hainan gibbon(Hylobates hainanus),and light conditions are considered one of the key environmental fac-tors affecting its survival.In this study,different photoperiod treatments(natural,extended,and shortened)were used to in-vestigate their effects on the survival,leaf structure,and photosynthetic physiological characteristics of G.oblongifolia to provide a theoretical basis for determining the optimal photoperiod for its growth and development.The results showed that(1)the survival rate of G.oblongifolia under the shortened photoperiod was significantly lower than that under the natural and extended photoperiods.(2)The contents of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,and total chlorophyll in G.oblongifolia leaves under the natural and extended photoperiods were significantly lower than those under the shortened photoperiod,while the chloro-phyll a/b ratio was significantly higher.(3)Under the natural photoperiod,the leaf lightness(L*),yellowness(b*),and chroma(C*)values of G.oblongifolia leaves showed an increasing trend over time,whereas the redness-greenness(a*)value showed a decreasing trend.The temporal changes in these color parameters under the extended and shortened photoperiods were rela-tively complex.(4)Stomatal width,stomatal area,stomatal density,stomatal aperture,and stomatal aperture ratio of G.oblongifolia leaves under the extended photoperiod were significantly higher than those under the natural and shortened pho-toperiods,whereas stomatal length was significantly lower than that under the shortened photoperiod.(5)Palisade tissue thickness,palisade-to-sponge mesophyll ratio,leaf tissue compactness,stomatal conductance,transpiration rate,and intercel-lular CO2 concentration of G.oblongifolia leaves under the shortened photoperiod were significantly lower than those under the natural and extended photoperiods.The net photosynthetic rate under both the extended and shortened photoperiods was significantly lower than that under the natural photoperiod,with no significant difference between the extended and shortened photoperiods.These results indicate that the shortened photoperiod mainly affects the photosynthetic characteristics of G.oblongifolia,reduces its net photosynthetic rate,and consequently decreases its survival rate.Therefore,photoperiod is one of the main factors affecting plant survival in the restoration and reconstruction of planted forests.This study is of great signifi-cance for the restoration and reconstruction of planted forests surrounding the habitat of the Hainan gibbon.
