Individual Exposure and Health Risk of Heavy Metals in Atmospheric Particulate Matter for College Students

为准确评估大学生在高校环境中PM2.5个体暴露水平及其中重金属对人体健康的影响,采用便携式大气颗粒物监测仪监测大学生生活环境中大气颗粒物暴露水平,同时配合个体采样泵采集大学生志愿者个体暴露的PM2.5样品,分析其中重金属浓度.结果显示,大学生个体暴露的PM1、PM2.5、PM10日均浓度分别为 27.9、35.6、45.8 μg/m3,未超过我国PM2.5的 24 h浓度限值.PM2.5中As、Cd、Pb 3 种元素的浓度水平均低于我国环境空气质量标准限值,但部分日期As的浓度超过标准限值.地积累指数结果表明,Cd处于严重污染至极度污染水平,As处于严重污染水平,Cr处于中度污染水平,Sb处于轻度污染水平.蒙特卡罗模拟的健康风险评价结果显示,重金属的总非致癌风险值为 1.46,超过安全水平 1;总致癌风险值为 1.16×10-5,在可接受水平内.

In order to evaluate the individual exposure level of PM2.5 of college students and the effects of heavy metals on human health more accurately,a portable atmospheric particulate matter monitor is used to monitor the exposure level of atmospheric particulate matter in college students'living environment.An individual sampling pump is used to collect PM2.5 samples carried by volunteers of college students and the concentration of heavy metals in PM2.5 are analyzed.The results show that the daily average value of PM1,PM2.5 and PM10 exposed by college students are 27.9,35.6 and 45.8 μg/m3,respectively,which do not exceed the 24-hour concentration limit of PM2.5in China.The concentrations of As,Cd and Pb in PM2.5 are lower than the limits of Chinese ambient air quality standards,but the concentrations of As exceed the standard limits on some days.The results of geoaccumulation index show that Cd is at seriously polluted to extreme pollution level,As is at serious pollution level,Cr is at moderate pollution level,and Sb is at light pollution level.The results of the Monte Carlo simulation of health risk assessment show that the comprehensive non-carcinogenic risk value of heavy metals is 1.46,which is outside the safe level of 1.The comprehensive carcinogenic risk value of heavy metals is 1.16×10-5,which is within acceptable levels.
