SPRING分组密码是全国密码算法设计竞赛2020年公布的优胜分组密码算法.截断差分分析是基于差分分析的一种分析方法,其主要思想是研究输入的部分差分对输出差分的影响.本文利用SPRING分组密码SubRow变换和矩阵转置变换的性质构造出SPRING128-128的5轮截断差分特征,进而对7轮SPRING128-128进行了密钥恢复攻击,其数据复杂度为279选择明文,存储复杂度为244字节,时间复杂度为2122 7轮SPRING128-128加密.这是SPRING128-128目前最优的分析结果.

SPRING block cipher is an award-winning algorithm of the recent National Cryptographic Algorithm Design Competition in China in 2020.Truncated differential cryptanalysis is a cryptanalysis tool based on differential cryptanalysis,whose main idea is to study the impact of partial differences in the input on the output differences.This study exploits the properties of the SubRow transformation and matrix transposition transformation of the SPRING block cipher to construct a 5-round truncated differential characteristics for SPRING128-128.Then,a key recovery attack is performed on 7-round SPRING128-128,with the data complexity of 279 chosen plaintexts,the memory complexity of 244 bytes,and the time complexity of 2122 7-round SPRING128-128 encryptions,which is currently the best cryptanalysis result for SPRING128-128.
