Experimental Study on the Tracing Mechanism of Steep Slopes in Silt Dams

淤地坝是建设在黄土高原地区,用于减少入黄泥沙、拦洪蓄泥、淤地造田的水土保持工程.近年来,淤地坝水毁灾害呈频发、多发态势,开展淤地坝溃坝机理研究十分必要.该研究通过室内试验,分析黄土高原地区淤地坝冲蚀机制.结果表明,含水率是决定冲蚀形态的决定性因素,含水率较低时,以层状冲蚀为主,含水率较高,转变为块体失稳冲蚀;压实度和入流量存在影响,但作用有限.研究结果可以为当地淤地坝设计及灾害防治提供参考.

A silt dam is a soil and water conservation project constructed in the Loess Plateau region to reduce the inflow of sediment into the Yellow River,retain floodwaters and silt,and reclaim farmland from silt.In recent years,the frequent occurrence of water damage disasters in silt dams has made it necessary to conduct research on the mechanism of silt dam failure.This study analyzes the erosion mechanism of the"steep slope"of silt dams in the Loess Plateau region through indoor experiments.The results indicate that the moisture content is the decisive factor determining the erosion morphology.When the moisture content is low,layered erosion is dominant,while when the moisture content is high,it transforms into block instability erosion.The compaction degree and inflow have an impact,but their effect is limited.The research results can provide reference for the design of local silt dams and disaster prevention and control.
