植物螯合肽介导植物对镉、砷耐性和积累的研究进展OA
Research progresses on the role of phytochelatin in mediating the tolerance and accumulation of cadmium and arsenic in plants
近年来,土壤中镉、砷等重金属的污染对水稻等粮食作物造成毒害,并且严重威胁粮食安全与生态系统健康.植物为应对镉、砷的毒害进化出多种机制,其中一种机制是合成一些小分子化合物与镉、砷结合形成螯合物,降低它们的毒性.植物螯合肽(Phytochelatins,PCs)是一类小分子多肽物质,在对镉、砷等重金属解毒中起着重要的作用.从植物螯合肽的结构、生物合成及其功能等方面,对其在介导植物对镉、砷耐受与积累中的最新研究进展进行综述,以期为进一步研究植物螯合肽在植物对重金属的耐性和积累的机制提供参考.
In recent years,soil contamination by heavy metals such as cadmium and arsenic has caused toxic effects on food crops,including rice,and seriously threatened food security and ecosystem health.To cope with the toxicity of cadmium and arsenic,plants have evolved various mechanisms,one of which involves the synthesis of some small molecule compounds that chelate with cadmium and arsenic to reduce their toxicity.Phytochelatins(PCs),a class of small molecule polypeptides,play an important role in the detoxification of heavy metals such as cadmium and arsenic.In this review,the latest research progresses on the role of PCs in mediating plant tolerance to and accumulation of cadmium and arsenic are summarized from the aspects of their structure,biosynthesis and functions,with the aim of providing a reference for further in-depth studies on the mechanisms of phytochelatins in plant tolerance and accumulation of heavy metals.
