[目的]探究外源褪黑素(MT)对NaCl胁迫下沙枣种子萌发和芽苗生长的缓解效应,并筛选出缓解NaCl胁迫的最适MT浓度.[方法]以甘肃和宁夏种源地的沙枣种子为材料,分析外源MT处理(0、50、100、200和400 μmol/L)对NaCl胁迫下(0、50、100、150、200和250 mmol/L)沙枣种子萌发及其芽苗生长的影响.[结果]1)甘肃和宁夏沙枣的种子萌发和芽苗生长指标均随着NaCl浓度的增加而显著降低.2)在NaCl胁迫条件下,甘肃沙枣种子在100 μmol/L MT处理下萌发效果显著提升,而芽苗生长则在200 μmol/L的MT处理下效果显著.宁夏沙枣在100 μmol/L MT处理下种子萌发和芽苗生长表现最佳.400 μmol/L MT对两地沙枣种子萌发具有抑制效应.3)综合评价得出,100和200 μmol/L MT分别是缓解盐胁迫下宁夏和甘肃沙枣种子萌发和芽苗生长的最适浓度.[结论]适宜的MT浓度能够有效缓解NaCl胁迫对沙枣萌发和芽苗生长的抑制作用,其效果因NaCl浓度和种源地的不同而存在差异.此外,宁夏沙枣相较于甘肃沙枣,具有更强的耐盐能力.

[Objective]This study aims to explore the mitigating effects of exogenous melatonin(MT)on the seed germination of and seedling growth of Elaeagnus angustifolia under NaCl stress,and to screen for the optimal MT concentration to alleviate NaCl stress.[Method]In this study,seeds of E.angustifolia from Gansu and Ningxia provenances were used as materials to analyze the impact of exogenous MT treatments(0,50,100,200,400 μmol/L)on the germination of seeds and the growth of seedlings under NaCl stress(0,50,100,150,200,250 mmol/L).[Re-sult]1)The germination and seedling growth indicators of seeds from both provenances Gansu and Ningxia signifi-cantly decreased with the increase of NaCl concentration.2)Under NaCl stress conditions,the germination effect of Gansu E.angustifolia seeds was significantly improved under 100 μmol/L MT treatment,while the growth of the seedlings was significantly enhanced under the treatment of 200 μmol/L MT.For the ningxia provenance E.angusti-folia had the best performance in seed germination and sprout growth under 100 μmol/L MT treatment.Conversely,400 μmol/L MT had an inhibitory effect on seed germination of E.angustifolia in both provenances.3)Comprehen-sive evaluation indicated that 100 and 200 μmol/L MT are the optimal concentrations to alleviate salt stress in the germination and seedling growth of E.angustifolia from Ningxia and Gansu provenances,respectively.[Conclusion]An appropriate concentration of MT can effectively mitigate the inhibitory effects of NaCl stress on the germination and seedling growth of E.angustifolia,with the effect varying due to differences in NaCl concentration and seed sources.In addition,E.angustifolia from Ningxia has a stronger salt tolerance than that from Gansu.
