The establishment of national high-tech zones can promote the research and development of green technology and the construction of clean production system,effectively stimulate the green innovation momentum of enterprises,and play an im-portant role in realizing the modernization of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.Taking the data of China's A-share non-financial listed enterprises from 2008 to 2023 as the research sample,this paper uses the multi-period differential model to study the relationship between the establishment of national high-tech zones,new quality productivity and enterprise green innovation vitality.The study finds that the establishment of national high-tech zones can significantly improve the green in-novation vitality of enterprises,and that this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests.Heterogeneity test results show that the positive effect of the establishment of national high-tech zones is stronger in the cities with high intellectual property pro-tection level and non-state-owned enterprises.The results of the mediating effect test show that the establishment of national high-tech zones enhances the green innovation vitality of enterprises by promoting the development of new quality productivity.
