A Review of Evaluation and Relief Strategies for Passenger Motion Sickness in Intelligent Driving

随着智能驾驶系统的普及,智能驾驶系统已成为新能源汽车下半场市场竞争的关键要素,智能驾驶模式下容易诱发乘员晕动症已成为行业共性问题.对智能驾驶模式下乘员晕动症的发生状况进行综述,继而深入剖析晕动症的发病机理及影响因素,介绍传统测评方法存在的缺陷,详细阐释晕动症多模态实时测评技术以及基于深度学习的晕动症预测模型,分别从人、车两个层面阐述晕动症的缓解策略.总结现有测评技术与环境方法的不足,展望晕动症缓解技术未来的发展方向,旨在推进智能驾驶技术的不断完善.

Intelligent driving systems are now widespread and become a key competitive factor in the next phase of the new energy vehicle market.However,passenger motion sickness under intelligent driving modes has become a common industry challenge.Therefore,this article first reviews the occurrence of motion sickness in intelligent driving scenarios.It then analyzes the pathogenesis and influencing factors of motion sickness and points out the defects of traditional evaluation methods.The multimodal real-time assessment techniques and deep-learning based prediction models for motion sickness are elaborated in detail.Furthermore,mitigation strategies are discussed from both the human and vehicle perspectives.Finally,the paper summarizes the limitations of existing evaluation techniques and environmental methods,exploring future directions for relieving motion sickness to promote the development of intelligent driving.
