民国小学教材中的自制科学玩具及其对当下小学科学教育的启发OA
Self-Made Scientific Toys in Primary School Textbooks of the Republic of China Period and Their Inspirations for Current Primary School Science Education
本文以民国时期小学自然科与劳作科教材中被广泛使用的自制科学玩具为基础,分析了其折射的民国教育理念与当代价值.在近代中国救亡图存、渴望科技人才的背景下,教育者开始重视面向儿童的科学教育,并在儿童本位、多层次科学教育目标、平民取向的教育理念下,利用自制科学玩具开展了寓教于乐、注重实践、自制教具的小学科学教育.此举探索出激发儿童科学兴趣的教学方法,超越了单一的知识取向,突破了教学资源短缺的局限.以此为鉴,今天我们应从学生视角出发,创新培养儿童科学爱好的教学方法,在开展更多探究实践环节的基础上培育多重科学素养,因地制宜开发科学教具,弥补科学资源的短缺和不均.
Based on the self-made scientific toys that were widely used in the nature textbooks and labor textbooks in primary school during the Republic of China period,this paper analyzes the educational concepts and contemporary value they reflect in the Republic of China period.Against the backdrop of modern China's efforts to save the country from peril and urgent demand for scientific and technological talents,educators began to attach importance to science education for children.Under the educational philosophy of child-centeredness,multi-level science education goals,and civilian education,educators carried out primary school science education that combines education with entertainment,emphasizes practice,and uses self-made scientific toys.This move explored teaching methods that stimulate children's interest in science,transcended a purely knowledge-oriented approach and broke through the constraints of limited teaching resources.Taking this as a lesson,today we should start from the perspective of students,innovate teaching methods for cultivating children's interest in science;cultivate multiple scientific literacy on the basis of conducting more inquiry and practice links;develop science teaching tools according to local conditions to make up for the shortage and inequality of scientific resources.
