Chronic diseases have become the primary threat to global public health.Although the traditional disease-centered medical model has achieved success in managing biological indicators and extending survival periods,it has fallen short of enhancing the overall quality of life for patients.Against this backdrop,this article examines the paradigm shift in the prevention and treatment model of chronic diseases,and it posits that this field is transitioning into an"era of quality-of-life medicine,"a model fundamentally centered on improving overall health and quality of life.Metabolic syndrome,as the common pathological basis of many chronic diseases,is a key determinant of patients' long-term health outcomes.Based on this,this article takes professor Han Shifan's"Family Nurse Diet Therapy"as an example to systematically elucidate its core concepts:the precise regulation of metabolic syndrome through non-nutrients,with an emphasis on family scenarios and personalized plans,this aims to offer both theoretical foundations and practical insights for transforming chronic disease prevention,treatment,and research paradigms within the"era of quality-of-life medicine,"thus supporting the achievement of the"Healthy China 2030"strategic objectives.
