Influence of college students' exercise identity on exercise behavior:The mediating effect of self—efficacy

目的:探究锻炼身份认同对大学生锻炼行为的影响,分析自我效能的中介作用.方法:采用锻炼行为量表、锻炼身份认同量表和自我效能感量表,对351名高校学生展开实证调查.结果:①锻炼身份认同和自我效能均能正向预测大学生锻炼行为.相关分析显示,锻炼身份认同与锻炼行为呈显著正相关(r=0.654,P<0.01).锻炼身份认同与自我效能呈显著正相关(r=0.745,P<0.01),自我效能与锻炼行为呈显著正相关(r=0.588,P<0.01);②中介效应检验表明,大学生锻炼身份认同对锻炼行为直接效应显著,效应值为0.458(95%CI[0.077,0.306]),自我效能在大学生锻炼身份认同影响锻炼行为的过程中起部分中介作用,中介效应值为0.189(95%CI[0.053,0.087]),占总效应的29.16%.结论:锻炼身份认同、自我效能对大学生锻炼行为的正向影响显著,锻炼身份认同通过自我效能中介作用间接影响大学生锻炼行为.

Objective:To explore the influence of exercise identity on college students' exercise behavior and analyze the mediating role of self-efficacy.Methods:A total of 351 college students were surveyed using the Exercise Behav-ior Scale,Exercise Identity Scale,and Self-Efficacy Scale.Results:① Both exercise identity and self-efficacy posi-tively predicted college students' exercise behavior.Correlation analysis showed that exercise identity was significantly positively correlated with exercise behavior(r=0.654,P<0.01).Exercise identity was significantly positively corre-lated with self-efficacy(r=0.745,P<0.01),and self-efficacy was significantly positively correlated with exercise behavior(r=0.588,P<0.01).② The mediation effect test indicated that college students' exercise identity had a sig-nificantly direct effect on exercise behavior,with an effect value of 0.458(95%CI[0.077,0.306]).Self-efficacy played a partial mediating role in the process of college students' exercise identity influencing exercise behavior,with a mediation effect value of 0.189(95%CI[0.077,0.306]),accounting for 29.16%of the total effect.Conclusion:The positive influence of exercise identity and self-efficacy on college students' exercise behavior is significant.Exercise i-dentity indirectly affects college students' exercise behavior through the mediating role of self-efficacy.
