一种基于地震振幅属性预测砂岩厚度的误差校正方法OA

随着油气勘探开发目标向岩性、地层等隐蔽性油气藏领域拓展,砂岩储层厚度的精确预测已成为油气勘探开发的关键环节,也是油气藏勘探开发领域的核心目标之一.历经业界数十年技术发展与实践应用,已逐渐形成地震属性分析、地震反演、AVO分析等三大类基于地震资料的砂岩储层研究技术方法;近年来,随着机器学习技术的兴起,研究者也开始探索人工智能技术在储层预测中的创新应用.然而,地震振幅属性预测砂岩储层分布作为经典预测技术之一,仍被广泛应用,且在如河道砂体等特定地质条件下展现出显著优势.同时,传统地震振幅属性预测方法存在固有局限性,具体表现在仅能精确预测调谐厚度附近的储层,对与调谐厚度相差较大的薄层或厚层预测均存在一定甚至较大误差,尤其针对薄砂岩储层.通过研究,提出一种统计地震振幅属性预测砂岩厚度与多井实钻厚度间的差值,基于该差值与实钻厚度建立误差函数,利用该误差函数校正地震振幅属性预测结果的方法.实际资料应用表明,该方法可显著提高薄砂岩储层厚度预测精度,为勘探目标优选及开发井部署提供更可靠的依据.

With the expansion of hydrocarbon exploration and development targets toward subtle reservoirs(e.g.,lithologic and stratigraphic reservoirs),the accurate prediction of sandstone reservoir thickness has become a critical link in hydrocarbon exploration and development,as well as one of the core objectives in this field.After decades of technological advancement and practical application in the industry,three major categories of sandstone reservoir research techniques based on seismic data have been gradually established,namely seismic attribute analysis,seismic inversion,and AVO analysis.In recent years,with the emergence of machine learning technology,researchers have also begun to explore the innovative application of artificial intelligence(AI)technology in reservoir prediction.However,as one of the classic prediction techniques,the prediction of sandstone reservoir distribution using seismic amplitude attributes is still widely adopted and demonstrates significant advantages under specific geological conditions,such as channel sand bodies.However,traditional prediction methods based on seismic amplitude attributes have inherent limitations:specifically,they can only predict reservoirs near the tuning thickness,but exhibit certain or even substantial errors in predicting thin or thick reservoirs that deviate from the tuning thickness,particularly for thin sandstone reservoirs.Through research,this study proposes an error correction method that first calculates the difference between the sandstone thickness predicted by seismic amplitude attributes and the actual drilled thickness from multiple wells,then establishes an error function based on this difference and the actual drilled thickness,and finally applies this error function to correct the seismic amplitude attribute-based prediction results.Application results with actual data indicate that this method can improve the prediction accuracy of thin sandstone reservoir thickness,thereby providing a more reliable basis for the optimization of exploration targets and the deployment of development wells.
