中扬子地区下古生界页岩拉曼光谱特征及其对页岩气勘探的启示OA
Raman Spectral Characteristics of the Lower Paleozoic Shale in the Middle Yangtze Region and Their Implications for Shale Gas Exploration
为科学评估中扬子地区下古生界页岩气勘探潜力,本文选取研究区内 30 件代表性露头及页岩气调查井样品进行拉曼光谱分析,并系统划分不同区域页岩有机质热演化程度.结果显示,下古生界页岩中有机质的拉曼光谱特征随其热演化程度增加呈良好的规律性变化,且与调查井的气体显示特征具有较好的相关性;从有机质过成熟初期的炭质页岩至低变质阶段炭质片岩,根据测试样品的拉曼峰型、D-G峰间距反转点及D-G峰高比(Dh/Gh)反转点,可将不同热演化程度泥页岩的拉曼光谱峰依次分为六类.成熟度相对较低的I、II类页岩发育区气体显示活跃,具有很好的商业勘探前景;III、IV类页岩发育区有机质成熟度更高,具有一定程度的气体显示,但页岩含气量较低,建议以基础调查评价为主;V、VI类页岩主要发育于控盆断裂带或侵入岩体发育区,页岩发生不同程度的石墨化,建议慎重投入页岩气勘探工作.基于上述页岩有机质拉曼光谱成熟度分类,本文进一步划定中扬子地区下古生界页岩气勘探的有利区域,为页岩气选区评价提供依据.
The objective of this research is to provide a comprehensive assessment of the shale gas exploration potential in the Lower Paleozoic of the Middle Yangtze region,based on a systematic division of the thermal evolution stages of organic matter across various structural and depositional units.We selected 30 representative shale samples from outcrops and investigation wells in the study region and analyzed them using a Raman spectrometer.The results show that the Raman spectral characteristics of the lower Paleozoic shale exhibit regular changes with the increase of the thermal maturity of organic matter,and correlate well with the gas display characteristics of the investigation well;from carbonaceous shale in the early stage of over mature to carbonaceous schist in the low metamorphic stage,according to the Raman bands type of the test samples,the D and G band spacing inversion node,and the D and G band height ratio(Dh/Gh)inversion node(Dh/Gh),the Raman bands of shale with different thermal maturities can be divided into six categories in turn.Organic matter maturity is relatively low in Type I and Type II shale development region,and gas display of the investigation wells is active with good commercial exploration prospect.Organic matter maturity is higher in Types III and Type IV shale development region where a certain degree of gas display is,but shale gas content is lower.We suggest focusing on basic investigation and evaluation in this region.Type V and type VI shales are mainly developed in Basin-controlling fault zone or intrusive rock development area,and the shales are graphitized in varying degrees.We suggest cautious investment in shale gas exploration in this region.Based on Raman spectroscopy-derived thermal maturity indices,favorable zones for shale gas exploration in the Middle Yangtze Lower Paleozoic are identified,offering a practical framework for regional prospect assessment.
