IRF3通过IFN-Ⅰ依赖与非依赖途径双向调控细菌感染的研究进展OA
Research progress on bidirectional regulation of bacterial infection by IRF3 through IFN-Ⅰ-dependent and independent pathways
干扰素调节因子3(Interferon regulatory factor 3,IRF3)是干扰素调节因子(Interferon regulatory factors,IRFs)家族的关键成员.IRF3是调控宿主-细菌相互作用的关键转录因子,其激活对Ⅰ型干扰素(Type Ⅰinterferons,IFN-Ⅰ)介导的抗菌防御至关重要.然而,IRF3在细菌感染中的功能并非一成不变:细胞微环境改变或激活的信号通路差异可使其从"防御者"转变为"促进者".本文综述了IRF3作为多功能转录因子在细菌感染中的作用机制,重点阐述其通过诱导IFN-Ⅰ表达或IFN-Ⅰ非依赖性信号转导途径参与不同细菌感染过程的近期研究进展,以期为临床治疗细菌感染提供一定理论基础.
Interferon regulatory factor 3(IRF3)is a key member of the interferon regulatory factors(IRFs)family.It is a crucial transcription factor in regulating host-bacteria interactions,and its activation is essential for type Ⅰ interferon(IFN-Ⅰ)-mediated antibacterial defense.However,the function of IRF3 in bacterial infections is not static:changes in the cellular microenvironment or differences in activated signaling pathways can transform it from a"defender"to a"promoter".This article reviews the mechanism of IRF3 as a multifunctional transcription factor in bacterial infections,with a focus on recent research progress in its involvement in different bacterial infection processes through inducing IFN-Ⅰexpression or IFN-Ⅰ-independent signal transduction pathways,with the aim of providing a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of bacterial infections.
