为探讨油茶(Camellia oleifera)砧木根系形态特征及其与嫁接苗抗旱性的关系,以对油茶苗期栽培管理及抗旱砧木选育提供参考.以湘林 1 号(XL1)、湘林 27(XL27)、湘林 97(XL97)、湘林 331(XL331)、国油 15(GY15)、德字 1 号(DZ1)、油茶种质 1(ZZ1,广西大青果)等 7 个油茶品种为砧木,嫁接普通油茶无性系湘林 210(XL210),测定砧木根系形态特征,并通过模拟干旱胁迫分析油茶砧木嫁接苗叶片光合参数及叶绿素荧光参数的变化,结合主成分分析及聚类分析综合评价砧木抗旱性.结果表明:不同类型油茶砧木根系的形态指标间差异显著,其中,XL331 根尖数最多,为(1427.66±70.91)个,ZZ1 的根表面积及根体积最大,分别为(150.44±7.58)cm2、(9.47±0.77)cm3.干旱胁迫显著改变了油茶砧木嫁接苗的光合特性及叶绿素荧光参数.在干旱胁迫后,ZZ1 的净光合速率最高,为(4.80±0.01)μmol·m-2·s-1,而XL331 的PSⅡ最大光化学效率及PSⅡ潜在活性表现最佳,分别为0.65±0.07、2.13±0.59.主成分分析表明,XL331/XL210、ZZ1/XL210、GY15/XL210、XL27/XL210 砧穗组合的抗旱综合评价值较高,XL97/XL210、DZ1/XL210 砧穗组合抗旱综合评价值中等.相关分析表明,根径(D)≤0.50 mm的根长、总根长度、根尖数与抗旱性度量值呈显著正相关,可作为筛选抗旱砧木的重要指标.XL331、ZZ1 根系形态综合评价值较高,其砧穗组合油茶嫁接苗表现出较强的抗旱性,可作为油茶抗旱砧木选育的优选材料.

This study aimed to explore the root morphological characteristics of Camellia oleifera rootstocks and their correlations with the drought resistance of grafted seedlings,thereby providing a theoretical reference for seedling cultivation manage-ment and drought-resistant rootstock breeding of C.oleifera.Seven C.oleifera varieties,namely Xianglin 1(XL1),Xiang-lin 27(XL27),Xianglin 97(XL97),Xianglin 331(XL331),Guoyou 15(GY15),Dezi 1(DZ1),and C.oleifera Germplasm 1(ZZ1,Guangxi Daqingguo),were selected as rootstocks,and grafted with the common C.oleifera clone Xianglin 210(XL210).The root morphological characteristics of the rootstocks were determined.Meanwhile,changes in leaf photosynthetic parameters and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of the grafted seedlings were analyzed under simula-ted drought stress.Furthermore,comprehensive evaluation of rootstock drought resistance was conducted by combining principal component analysis(PCA)and cluster analysis.The results showed that there were significant differences in root morphological indices among different C.oleifera rootstock types.Among these rootstocks,XL331 had the highest number of root tips,reaching(1427.66±70.91)units,while ZZ1 exhibited the maximum root surface area and root volume,which were(150.44±7.58)cm2 and(9.47±0.77)cm3,respectively.Drought stress significantly altered the photosynthetic char-acteristics and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters of C.oleifera grafted seedlings.After drought stress treatment,ZZ1 showed the highest net photosynthetic rate,with a value of(4.80±0.01)μmol·m-2·s-1,whereas XL331 presented the optimal maximum photochemical efficiency of PSⅡand potential activity of PSⅡ,which were 0.65±0.07 and 2.13±0.59,respectively.Principal component analysis indicated that the graft combinations of XL331/XL210,ZZ1/XL210,GY15/XL210,and XL27/XL210 had relatively high comprehensive evaluation values of drought resistance,while XL97/XL210 and DZ1/XL210 had moderate values.Correlation analysis revealed that root length of roots with diameter(D)≤0.50 mm,total root length,and number of root tips were significantly and positively correlated with drought resistance metrics,which could be used as important indices for screening drought-resistant rootstocks.In conclusion,XL331 and ZZ1 had high com-prehensive evaluation values of root morphology,and their corresponding grafted seedlings exhibited strong drought resist-ance,making them ideal candidate materials for breeding drought-resistant C.oleifera rootstocks.
