Progress on the Regulatory Effect and Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Its Active Ingredients on Animal Immune Function
免疫系统是识别并清除各种外源性病原微生物的关键防线,对维持动物内环境平衡至关重要.中药以其低毒副作用、无化学残留、成分复杂多样、药效温和持久及作用靶点广泛等独特性质,在调节免疫功能方面展现出了显著优势.这些特性共同促进了免疫功能的调节与平衡.药理学研究表明,中药可通过多种途径调节免疫反应,其作用机制包括刺激免疫细胞的激活与增殖、增强细胞因子合成、促进补体活性以及调节抗体水平.这些机制的共同作用有助于增强免疫力和抵抗致病入侵.有些中药具有免疫抑制特性,可通过调控免疫反应以管理自身免疫性疾病.论文旨在系统阐述部分中药及其活性成分在动物免疫功能调节方面的研究进展,分析其作用机制,以期推动对动物免疫调节的深入探索,并为中药在动物免疫学领域的科学研究提供依据.
The immune system serves as a critical defense mechanism that identifies and eliminates various exogenous pathogenic microorganisms,playing a vital role in maintaining internal homeostasis in animals.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)has demonstrated remarkable advantages in modulating immune function through its unique characteristics,including low toxicity and side effects,absence of chemical resi-dues,complex and diverse components,mild yet sustained therapeutic efficacy,and broad-spectrum action targets.These properties collectively promote the regulation and balance of immune functions.Modern pharmacological research has demonstrated that TCM can modulate immune responses through multiple pathways,with mechanisms encompassing stimulation of immune cell activation and proliferation,enhance-ment of cytokine synthesis,promotion of complement activity,and regulation of antibody levels.The syner-gistic effects of these mechanisms contribute to strengthening immunity and resisting pathogenic inva-sions.Notably,certain TCM formulations exhibit immunosuppressive properties,which may be beneficial in specific contexts,such as managing autoimmune diseases through immune response regulation.This re-view systematically elaborates on recent research advancements regarding specific TCM formulations and their active constituents in animal immune function modulation,analyzing their mechanisms of action.The objective is to facilitate deeper exploration of animal immunomodulation and provide scientific foundations for TCM-related research in veterinary immunology.
