放牧可以改变植物的性状特征,且表型可塑性与放牧强度有关.选择青海省贵南县高寒草甸的禁牧对照、轻度放牧和重度放牧 3 种放牧样地,通过对优势物种垂穗披碱草(Elymus nutans)功能性状的定量分析,比较不同放牧管理模式下垂穗披碱草的构件特征并计算各性状的表型可塑性指数,以期探究放牧强度对高寒草甸优质牧草功能性状的影响.结果表明:1)与禁牧对照相比,放牧样地垂穗披碱草的丛幅、营养枝高度、生殖枝高度、分蘖数、叶片数、叶厚、叶形指数和平均叶面积均显著降低(P<0.05).2)放牧显著降低叶片的碳含量、碳氮比、碳磷比和氮磷比等化学计量特征(P<0.05).3)放牧显著降低垂穗披碱草的营养枝干重、生殖枝干重和总地上生物量(P<0.05),且随放牧强度增加营养枝干重占比呈下降趋势.4)叶干物质含量对放牧不敏感,是惰性性状,而生殖枝干重和总地上生物量为最敏感的性状.因此,放牧显著改变了垂穗披碱草的功能性状,不同表型性状的可塑性受放牧强度的影响,垂穗披碱草采取快速获得资源型适应策略,可以通过调整放牧强度的方式以保证草地健康和可持续利用.

Plant traits can be altered by grazing,wherein phenotypic plasticity is related to grazing intensity.Three grazing intensity plots,including a no grazing control and light and heavy grazing groups,were selected at the Guinan County,Qinghai Province.The modular characteristics and the phenotypic plasticity index were calculated to explore the impacts of grazing intensity on the functional traits of Elymus nutans in alpine meadow.The results showed that:1)Compared with the no grazing group,grazing treatment significantly reduced crown width,nutrient branch height,reproductive branch height,tiller number,leaf number,leaf thickness,leaf shape index,and average leaf area of E.nutans(P<0.05).2)Grazing significantly reduced the stoichiometric characteristics such as leaf carbon content,carbon nitrogen ratio,carbon phosphorus ratio,and nitrogen phosphorus ratio(P<0.05).3)The total aboveground biomass of E.nutans and the nutrient and reproductive branch weights were significantly reduced after long-term grazing(P<0.05),and the proportion of nutrient branch weight decreased with increasing of grazing intensity.4)Leaf dry matter content was insensitive to grazing and was an inert trait,while reproductive branch weight and total aboveground biomass were the most sensitive traits.Therefore,grazing significantly altered the functional traits of E.nutans,and the plasticity of phenotypic traits was influenced by grazing intensity.E.nutans adopted a rapid resource-based adaptation strategy to grazing.Appropriately adjusting grazing intensity provides valuable insights for grassland health and sustainable use.
