Genetic Analysis of Sepal Prickle Coverage in Eggplant

为阐明茄子萼片覆刺性状的遗传规律,以有刺茄子高代自交系 24C01(P1)和无刺茄子高代自交系 24C02(P2)为亲本,构建六世代群体(P1、P2、F1、F2、B1、B2),F1 群体刺数呈连续正态分布,采用主基因+多基因混合遗传模型分析法对萼片覆刺性状分析.结果表明,其最优模型为MX2-ADI-ADI(两对加性-显性-上位性主基因+加性-显性-上位性多基因模型).该性状主要受 2对主基因控制,在F2、B1 和B2 群体中的遗传率分别为 89.70%、80.49%和 74.64%,同时也受环境因素影响.综上,本研究深入解析了萼片覆刺性状的遗传模式,对定向改良茄子品种具有重要意义.

To elucidate the genetic mechanism underlying the prickle coverage on eggplant sepals,six genetic populations(P1,P2,F1,F2,B1,B2)were constructed using the prickly line 24C01 and the prickle-free line 24C02 as parents.The number of prickles on sepals in the F1 population was investigated and exhibited a continuous and approximately normal distribution.Genetic analysis was per-formed using the major gene plus polygene mixed inheritance model.The optimal genetic model was identified as MX2-ADI-ADI,which consists of two additive-dominant-epistatic major genes plus additive-dominant-epistatic polygenes.Estimation of genetic pa-rameters indicated that the trait was primarily controlled by two major genes,with heritabilities of 89.70%,80.49%,and 74.64%in the F2,B1,and B2 populations,respectively.The expression of the trait was also influenced by environmental factors.In conclusion,this study provides a detailed analysis of the genetic pattern of calyx bristle traits,which holds significant implications for the directional improvement of eggplant varieties.
