Potential,Challenges and Countermeasures in Utilizing Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic

"以竹代塑"已成为应对塑料污染、推动经济社会绿色发展的切实可行方案.文章从竹材自身结构与力学特性、全球竹资源禀赋、竹资源利用技术与市场政策环境、产业发展面临的核心挑战4 个方面系统阐述了竹资源代塑应用的潜力、落地支撑与发展前景;并针对产业发展中存在的代塑专用竹种匮乏且配套栽培技术滞后、竹材采运技术难以匹配工业化利用、高附加值代塑产品加工技术薄弱、代塑产品标准体系缺位、竹材全生命周期及碳评估体系不完善等关键问题,提出创制与培育代塑专用品种、依托新质生产力突破竹资源利用技术瓶颈、搭建创新平台推动竹产业一二三产融合发展、制定覆盖全产业链的扶持政策、构建代塑产品国际标准体系等对策,以期提升公众对竹资源代塑应用潜力的认知,为"以竹代塑"产业高质量可持续发展提供实践路径.

"Bamboo as a substitute for plastic"has become a feasible plan to promote socio-economic development.This paper systematically expounds the potential,implementation support,and development prospects of bamboo resources in plastic substitution from four aspects:the structural and mechanical properties of bamboo itself,the global endowment of bamboo resources,the technology for bamboo utilization along with the market policy environment,and the core challenges faced by industrial development.Additionally,aiming at the key issues in industrial development,such as the scarcity of bamboo species dedicated to plastic substitution and the lagging supporting cultivation technologies,the difficulty of bamboo harvesting and transportation technologies in matching industrialized utilization,the weakness in processing technologies of high-value-added products for plastic substitution,the absence of standard system for plastic-substituting products,and the imperfection of the full life cycle and carbon assessment system for bamboo,it puts forward targeted countermeasures.These include creating and cultivating bamboo varieties dedicated to plastic substitution,breaking through the technological bottlenecks in bamboo resource utilization through new quality productive forces,building innovation platforms to promote the integrated development of the primary,secondary,and tertiary industries of the bamboo industry,formulating supportive policies covering the entire industrial chain,and establishing an international standard system for plastic-substituting products.It is expected to enhance the public's awareness of the potential of bamboo resources in plastic substitution and provide practical paths for the high-quality and sustainable development of the"bamboo as a substitute for plastic"industry.
