巴拉水电站是国家西部大开发重点工程,工程区地质条件复杂,建设过程中面临首部枢纽区强卸荷岩质边坡稳定、河床段趾板地基断层影响评价、超大断面浅埋溢洪洞进口塌方处理方案选择、大泄量溢洪洞挑坎深厚覆盖层地基处理研究、输水系统软岩洞段塌方处理及预防等主要工程地质问题.结合工程前期勘察和施工阶段的研究成果,将过程中对电站主要工程地质问题的分析研究及处理措施进行梳理,为其他类似工程提供借鉴.

The Bala Hydropower Project is a key project under China's Western Development Strategy.The en-gineering area features complex geological conditions,and the construction process faced major geotechnical challenges,including:stability of strongly unloaded rock slopes in the headwork section,evaluation of the influ-ence of faults on the plinth foundation in the riverbed section,selection of treatment schemes for collapse at the inlet of the super-large cross-section shallow-buried spillway tunnel,research on foundation treatment for the flip bucket of the high-discharge spillway tunnel in thick overburden layers,and treatment and prevention of collapse in soft rock sections of the water conveyance system.Based on pre-construction investigations and re-search achievements from the construction phase,this paper systematically reviews the analysis,research,and treatment measures applied to address the major geotechnical issues of the hydropower project,providing refer-ence for other similar projects.
