Guangdong's aquaculture industry holds significant national prominence,ranking first in both total fishery economic output and aquatic product production.As a major hub for the ready-to-eat food(RTOF)industry,Guangdong's aquatic RTOF sector plays a crucial role in agricultural development.This study examines the current status of Guangdong's aquatic RTOF industry,identifying notable policy advantages,solid foundational capabilities,and the establishment of initial industrial clusters.However,challenges remain including the need for enhanced local supporting policies,incomplete industry standards,room for improvement in technological innovation services and market competitiveness,as well as prominent issues in market distribution and talent development.The paper proposes countermeasures to strengthen policy support,accelerate RTOF technology development and commercialization,establish specialized raw material production bases,reinforce food safety and environmental supervision,improve aquatic cold chain logistics systems,cultivate RTOF talent,and enhance marketing and brand promotion strategies.
